ZENIT Needs Your Help
Every year during Lent, Zenit invites their readers to support ZENIT so they can continue providing news from Rome and the Vatican, free of charge.
As you may know, the money ZENIT collects during this time isn’t “extra.” In fact, it’s ZENIT’s daily bread.
Since ZENIT began 11 years ago, donations have been their principal source of income — they absolutely depend on this campaign.
Here is a glimpse of the current financial situation of ZENIT’s bank accounts in each country: The account in the United States has $20,000. The Spanish account: €5,000. The German account: Euro 8,000. In France, there’s Euro 5,000; in Italy, Euro 1,000; in Brazil, 2,000 reals; and in Mexico, $1,000.
So, at this moment, the account balances total about $47,000.
Considering that ZENIT’s monthly operating costs come to about $160,000, the situation is troubling. They do not have the money to pay ZENIT employees in March!
That’s why they are counting on you, this year as in the past.
In fact, their current situation is similar to what they face every February/March, at the start of their annual campaign. Providence only sends us enough to make it through from year to year.
They’ve never operated in the red or been forced to take out a loan to cover operating costs. Even with their continuous and rapid growth, which has meant continually adding to their annual budget, Providence has never left them wanting.
We invite each one of you to send a donation to ZENIT, for whatever amount you are able, so together we can make this miracle happen again.
Making a donation is very simple. Just click here:

Please consider helping ZENIT continue not only through March, but throughout the year.
